I recently visited the Budget location on Metcalf in Overland Park and was blown away by the level of service I received from Lindsey. She was working the desk entirely on her own while managing a long line of customers, yet she handled the pressure with incredible professionalism. I booked a rental car one week in advance. Two days before my pickup date, Budget called to confirm my reservation, and I confirmed that I would be picking up the car. However, when I arrived on the pickup day, they told me they had no cars available—not only at that location but at any nearby Budget location. Instead, they asked me to rent a different car than the one I had reserved, which was more expensive and not what I booked. This completely disrupted my travel plans. Need to be honest, you book a month prior to trip. On the day your booked class is not available and they force you on a class you never booked for and they are very rude about it, shifting blame and not being honest. This is after you check in and confirm a day to trip with assurance your rented vehicle will be available. Never book with Budget or this location.. If I could give zero star I would have, totally ruined my vacation vibe.
