Great experience - truck ready to go with great staff help
I reserved a minivan on April 2 for a mid-July trip, well in advance to ensure my family had the right vehicle. However, when I called the day of pickup, I was told there were no minivans available. Instead, I was offered an SUV and felt I had no real choice but to accept it since we were leaving for vacation that afternoon. Unfortunately, the issues didn’t stop there. DO NOT RENT HERE! I paid for a larger luxury car and received the wrong car with the make crossed out. Within miles the engine light came on and I was not able to swap out at a different location. I did not even get half way to my location and they still charged me $250.
Extremely disappointing experience. I would not recommend this Budget location. The staff was rude, unprofessional, and completely lacked transparency. They never informed me that the vehicle came with limited mileage, which resulted in unexpected extra charges. They also charged my credit card a significant amount without clearly explaining or warning me beforehand. I felt misled throughout the entire rental process.
