Budget used to be my 'go to' rental company in Atlantic City. However, this recent experience has me disappointed and looking for a better alternative. Our most recent rental was for 6 days in a full sized vehicle. Upon arrival in the early evening, we were assigned a Toyota Rav4. When we got out to the vehicle, we noticed a terrible odor like wet pets, and the back seats seemed to have some kind of stains. Expensive
The car was decent. Mostly clean, although there were some weird stains in the back, but overall clean, and I had a comfortable trip. However, The guy at the counter was a bit rude & short with me. I don't rent vehicles often, so I was just trying to make sure I had all the documents I needed to avoid to any issues. He just seemed completely annoyed by me.
