Made a reservation online for a car. Show up there they REFUSED My debit card, RUDE, UNHELPFUL. I WALKED OUT, NOT DOING BUSINESS WITH LIAR'S!
I’ve had our van reserved for weeks and it was easy online, prepaid and got so many reminders about the reservation. We come in today and the employee decided to come to work 20 mins late and didn’t have a van or SUV for us. And then had the audacity to say “if you wait 10 Min I can call the western branch office to see if they have one” that’s 30 mins the wrong way for us. If you don’t have what we need, cancel or at least call to let us know. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. ZERO STARS
I had a great experience with Budget at the Newport News airport! The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional throughout the entire process. Everything was smooth and efficient, and I really appreciated their reliability and great customer service. Unreliable is right. Booking was very quick and easy through the official Budget website. I got a confirmation text saying my car was reserved, and then another later stating it was ready to pick up. So we arrive at the counter at the designated time, ready and eager to get to our destination. The rude and unconcerned agent told us there were no cars available. Ummm, what, how, huh?? The worst rental experience ever. Couldn’t get a copy of the bill.
