Reserved car online over a week in advance, went to pick up and told no car available. No real apology and no other rental car company had car available since it were 30 min before businesses were closing for the day. I read the reviews AFTER renting a car through Budget at the HHI airport and was very nervous about the experience. However, the process was SO EASY and I would absolutely do it again.
I wrote Mr. Joe Ferraro on October 11, 2024 about an error and the traumatic consequences incurred by yours truly. I am a pretty tough gal but was given are rental car that was supposed to be a hybrid but wound up being a full electric car that was NOT charged up. As I was twenty miles from airport and on the mainland, dash kept flashing to recharge. Pulled over to a gas station to discover there was no gas tank. Not a hybrid.
