Worst rental car and customer service experience possible. They rented me a car that reeked of marijuana and tobacco. Refused to do much of anything about it. Paid almost $1,000 for my small children and I to be exposed to second hand smoke for a week on our family vacation. Enterprise would never!!!!!!! Avoid this place like the plague.
I looked at car prices the day before. It was for a young man that recently lost Mom. Father was already passed. Price was $31 per day. The price doubled at airport. I paid and checked. Price was slightly more. It was Budget. I felt scammed. $500 to $1,100.
Did not have a great experience here this time around. I almost exclusively rent from the airport locations, and I've rented via Budget for years, mostly without issue. I went in to get my car tonight, and they did not have the class I rented. I was given a downgrade, which we will make work, but we're absolutely crammed thanks to this change. Highly do not recommend this car rental. We rented a car last week for our vacation and the lady wasnt the best- she was short and a tad rude. Thought she might be having a bad day so just moved on with our trip. She told us it would be 80 dollars if we extended our car rental one day and we could call on sunday (today) to extend and confirmed it would only be 80 dollars. I confirmed that price with her. Michelle at the Akron Canton Airport Budget/Avis Rental Desk was amazing. My flight was delayed August 3rd and she was still working late that day. I was able to secure my car. Very friendly, professional and expedited my service. I always have a great experience with Budget and will continue to use them
