Don't fall for the "gas is comped" thing. They told me that my gas was comped because they couldn't clean the car as they didn't have enough people. Took 40 minutes just to get a dirty car. Woman said that she'd comp my gas. Just like others have said, I was charged for gas. This is a total scam.
I had a complicated experience with this Budget location that is too long to share. Fast Break is not available at this location due to the small airport. If you have flight delays please note that they may not have vehicles available. I ended up getting a pickup (not what I I reserved but I was thankful to have any rental at that point) on arrival and was able to swap it out the next day. Overall I found the staff to be very helpful throughout my ordeal.
Terrible experience. Long wait, overbooked, didn’t hold reservation. After a 2.5 hour wait, I was told to bring a recently returned car back on empty as a solution to the horrible experience. I did so and they charged me for not fueling up when it was returned on time. Submitted ticket through customer care and explained the situation numerous times but they only keep telling me that I didn’t refuel and the charges wouldn’t be removed. As we walked up to our vehicle, the smell ..was one that was undeniable. The windows were all rolled down and it was almost midnight. The vehicle absolutely stunk of pot. We actually had to drive with the windows down the entire weekend. There were remnants of pot on the center console, floors and seats...the vehicle had not been cleaned. When we came to pick up the vehicle, the line was very long, slow, and the person working told us there were no clean cars available. He said that if we took a dirty car, we would not have to return the car with a full tank. We asked how dirty the car was, if it was interior or exterior. He had no idea. We took our chances and said yes. Luckily, the interior was mostly clean, but we had to stop and use a squeegee at a gas station to clean off parts of the car to safely operate it.
