***First thing to note*** this location DOES NOT HAVE FASTBREAK even though there is a sign at the counter. Get in line with the regular line as there is only one person working the counter. After reading all the reviews I feel as if I lucked out. Our car smelled some but the SUV had a full tank of gas and had appeared cleaned out inside but the outside was dirty. Not horrible. I usually have good service when it comes to budget and have been renting with them quite often. However, it was not so this time. We had rented a car for our trip to Burlington over the weekend. We get there and there were 2 people behind the counter. There were 2 lines so obviously we stand in the line for budget since we rented from budget and not Avis. Arrived here late on Wednesday night and the desk had a sign up that they were sold out of cars. Even though I made the reservation two months ago and already paid for it. The woman working the desk wrote my name on a list; there were at least eight other people on there and more people went to the desk after me. I gave two stars because the woman at the desk seemed genuinely remorseful even though it wasn’t her fault. They won’t get my business again.

Very disappointed with my experience with Budget in Burlington. The car was dirty both inside and outside when I picked it up, and there was even trash left in the door compartments. To make matters worse, the check engine light was already on from the moment I got the vehicle, which did not make me feel safe or confident driving it. The navigation system was also unreliable and would randomly stop working. Prepaid for my reservation, only to arrive on time and be told they “sold out” of cars. And they cannot provide me with information on whether a car will be available for pick up later. We booked a car to drive to a wedding an hour away and now left with no vehicle!! The counter attendant provides no helpful information and is extremely rude.
