Booked a car three weeks before a day I needed. 30 minutes before pick up got a call that location didn’t have a car , and I should call customer service and change pick up location and rent a car for double price. Never , never make a reservation at this location. No words to express my frustration.
Person was nice to me even tho I was 15 minutes past my pickup time at 10 am. So 1015 ish. This location opened at 9am. The car i needed a Kia soul. But I got a Subaru forester accent. It was great. But it was filthy! So thats how I returned it. However something stuck with me that has me never wanting to come back. I heard the other person call a customer and tell them they are OUT OF CARS! the person had already paid! That sunk in and has been on my mind every since. So here's the thing. I've NEVER rented from anyone but Enterprise and this covers 20 years. But the rate budget is offering for a 10 passenger van beats enterprise by almost $200. But now I'm reading these reviews and not sure of this decision. I plan to pick up this van only 5 hours before we hit the road. A confirmation means absolutely nothing here at Budget Car Rental on Broadway. Twice they left us without a car last minute. They guy working here was smirky and rude and refused to find a replacement.
worst i have booked the car with discount low price pre booked and when i came to pick up the car next day they cancelled my reservation and say no cars for rent and they gave the rental cars to other customers just after me this is completely scaaaammmmmmmmmm scaammm people # budget #scam 1059 s broadway ave budget
