I chose budget because of positive past experience. However, this location was not great. I had to go to the Avis counter and wait in line for 40 min for my reserved car. Then I was informed that they only have EV cars available. I showed them my reservation was for gas car and told them no, as I have never operated an electric and driving in an unknown city wasn't a good time to learn. Rented a car- lost my keys in the rental. Filed a lost & found, cannot speak to anyone, all of the numbers they provide to call do not work and anyone I speak with cannot help me. The keys that are lost are for medical equipment that is needed ASAP- and there is no one that can help. If someone reads this from corporate- please CALL or EMAIL me ASAP as this is URGENT. Filed claim a week ago and heard nothing.
The employees, Jason, Kookie, and Keone were extremely helpful in assisting me with a replacement vehicle when the rental that I obtained from a different state needed to be replaced due to it being unclean and have a broken air conditioning system.
Worst experience ever. I waited an hour on line only to find out my vehicle wasn’t ready. When I asked why, I was told that there was a rush. When a car is reserved a time has to be given for pick up. So, rush or not they know when cars are supposed to be picked up. I was brushed off by the woman at the counter when I asked why it was taking so long. The staff don’t really seem to care about the customers.
