On 9/20/21 I waited in an hour and a half line to pick up a rental I had reserved months in advance. Once I got the counter the girl asked if I would be willing to take an electric car. I said yes and she surprised me and said she would book me a return electric car for $0.33 cents. I was so thankful and felt like that made the wait in the line worth it. Poor choice of vehicles, they do not honour upgrades. It seems other staff waited on 1 lady to handle all queues.
Over 2 hours for a reserved car and no remorse or apology
Second time we rent from budget. Smooth experience overall like last time. Lady at the counter was professional. We were upgraded to an electric car instead but that was not an issue. Car was clean and looked new. Drop off was fast and efficient. Would rent again
