This place took our money out of our account for renting a car a week before arriving. Once we arrived after being told they take tap to pay, they do not. Then once we arrived to the store, they say oh, by the way, we do a whole credit check before you can rent a car, even though we already took the money out of your account. Absolute worst place, do not rent from here. We’ve never tried renting from here, we always use enterprise and now I know why.
Reserved a car for 1pm, it wasn't ready until 3. Got no kind of discount for that. Was pressured into getting unnecessary insurance. And to top it off, there were a bunch of tissues under the seat that my granddaughter pulled out. 2 days later she had the flu. Obviously the car needed to be cleaned better. Employees aren't very friendly either. Enterprise always treats me so much better
Returned the car with a full tank of gas and was later hit with a $143 fuel service charge. Absolute robbery. Thankfully, I keep my gas receipts. What made this worse was customer service. Every representative I spoke with was completely nonchalant, as if overcharging customers is normal and not a serious issue. Updated review. Budget said they are happy to help, but referred me to Budget E-toll. Budget E-toll asked for documents, then said they needed more information. The additional information was provided and no action was taken between November 7 and November 20. I resubmit the information and called on November 26. I was told they do not have the information from the 7th and it will be a few more days before they look at my email from the 20th. Budget customer service is terrible.
