Same experience as others have stated. I've rented here many times because it's convenient, no longer. Same person working here forever and he is extremely rude, refuses to communicate when spoken to and charges you whatever he feels like, throws the papers at you and disappears around back.
It's called Budget for a reason. Expect not to get the car you reserved (and definitely don't prepay), and when they don't have what you reserved they'll tell you that you can drive to the airport or wait until tomorrow. Moe works the front desk and is more worried about his vibe then delivering on what was promised. I cannot understand why Budget would hire someone so rude, arrogant, and disrespectful to loyal customers. I have never encountered a more insulting person in my life, and it is beyond me why this individual is still employed. It’s clear I am not alone, as there are numerous complaints about his behavior. He was not only rude to me but also to other customers attempting to do business at this location, and even to supervisors at the call center who tried to assist. The communication and customer service with the rep on site was as bad as I have ever witnessed in a corporate enviornment. I had a reservation my assistant had booked in her name and they pulled a credit check on her, instead of allowing us to switch to my name and/or pay cash or use my credit card for the deposit. The clerk was absolutley horrible and had nothing but a sardonic smirk. Paid for rental online. Wouldn’t rent because we don’t use credit cards. That’s their policy but wasn’t aware of this and that’s fine. But the guy behind the counter was just…. Horrible. Monotone. Zero cares given. Just handed me a flyer and circles a number and told me to call for a refund.
