Your estimate is half the price they actually charge you! Also horrible service or better to say no service! Nobody there will help you! Not even with a question! Avoid at all costs!
Gave us a car without the key to access the spare. When we DID get a flat, and called them because we were unable to change the tire, they tried to charge us 50 dollars, and when the payment didn't go through, they HUNG UP ON US (stranded on the side of the road) and we got NO roadside assistance or replacement vehicle. They then proceeded to repeatedly hang up on us, and we got no help at all. Service is absolutely dismal when you need it. Do NOT rent cars from here.
I’m trying to retrieve an expensive pair of sunglasses from my rental on Monday and no one will answer the phone.
5 stars for Michael at SRQ (Oct 20, 11AM). Very personable, friendly and helpful. He corrected for me a significant error caused by an exchange in another city. I will rent again from Budget because of his accommodating manner.
This was the worst car rental experience I have ever had. I was coerced into taking an electric car which I was unfamiliar with, but the rep Michael told me he’d rather not get me the keys to the GM I wanted and it would be easier for him to give me the electric car. I told them I have never used an electric car before and the rep, Michael, said it is fine and just like any other car and I could go 250 miles.
