My partner reserved a box truck to be picked up on Thursday. The location confirmed the box truck was available, although upon arrival the box truck was no longer available (even though it was reserved). The card was then charged on Saturday for $500, even though the reservation was cancelled in person when they informed they no longer had the vehicle. Paula and the heavy set door opener lack basic customer service skills. They ATTEMPTED charging my father $450 for pet hair and refused to let us take pictures of the vehicle with said pet hair. Although my dad was audibly upset, the heavy set individual began cursing at my dad and came out to the parking lot and began provoking my father & making faces. I had a very frustrating experience at the Budget Rental Car location in Colton. I prepaid for a specific type of vehicle, but when I arrived, I was given something completely different without explanation. The car I received was dirty inside and out, and to make matters worse, one of the tires was flat. Both Paula and Sonia, the staff members I interacted with, were extremely rude and unhelpful.
