#5 for 800 Customer Service #1 for local management --- 3 Stars BEWARE... This location provided a Volvo (great car) that was filled with empty water bottles and trash. When I returned it to the lot there was no available parking so I asked the attendant on the scene where to park, and he told me to place it in a walkway but leave the keys in it and the receipt for mileage and gas. Making a reservation prior to pick-up was easy and straight forward, the day for pick-up had the same result with friendly customer service. Where things went south is when after a day or so had passed and I noticed I didn't receive my invoice via email that I was informed would be sent to me shortly after turning in the keys on the day of return, is when I knew something was wrong. Check your charges! First experience with Budget at Tweed New Haven ... returned car on time and left keys in drop box because no one was working behind the counter. Then I saw they charged me for almost three extra hours because that is when they emptied the drop box. Really????? I called and they corrected it but only after I was forced to send them my airline itinerary. Update: Notice "response from owner" below. Clearly he/she did not read the last sentence of my review. Oh well, par for the course!
