I had a reservation for luxury car for multiple days of travel in rural Ohio. I give them 3 stars for being open late when everyone else is closed (you check in with Avis) no stars for the amount of time it takes to actually get checked in and the biggest downer was they gave me a midsize electric car. A Tesla would have been fine but a Volvo with almost no charging stations available and most charging at a pathetically slow rate and no range. I was told come back tomorrow
The desk where cool & quick. But the car reaked like pot. & luckley i caught the leaking tire before i got on the turnpike. Could have left me stranded on the pennsylvania turnpike.
After being treated poorly and unprofessionally at hertz the last few times I’ve switch to budget and after renting with them I left my wallet in rental and they called me immediately and the next day after I retrieved it everything was in tact. I trust these people so thank you and will only rent from budget moving forward.
There was NO ONE working on Saturday 12/27th at the counter during one of the busiest times of the year. The budget counter was totally closed. We had to go over to the Avis counter to get our car. We waited in line over two hours for our car. This is totally unacceptable and I would never ever consider renting a car from budget or Avis again
EDIT: Rory I saw your response - can you get someone to bring our child booster seats to us now? We finally got a vehicle but are waiting for the boosters and we can’t find a single worker to help us. We were told they’d be brought out to us. Currently waiting in line and it’s insanely long! I’ve been here for over an hour. Two people working. Everyone in line is annoyed. I even did the pre checkin option but you still have to wait in line to get your car. Never using Budget ever again.
