After getting the final bill they charged me a cleaning fee for 'crumbs.' I checked the car before dropping it off and it was not dirty, no trash, didn't eat in it, barely drove it for more than 20 miles. There was possibly some dirt on the floor mats from my shoes. Called them and they said there were 'crumbs' in the car. I can understand cleaning fees for trash removal or other issues, but this charging for crumbs is ridiculous. I thought I would leave a positive review. I rent from budget all the time. This is not my go to location but for some reason the prices were cheaper at this budget. I was hesitated to pick up a car from the negative reviews but everything went great. The front office employee actually noticed it was close to my birthday and wished me happy birthday. I rented a Budget box truck and had a good experience from start to finish. I reserved the truck online. Gina was there when I checked the truck out and when I returned it, and was especially knowledgeable, helpful, and adeptly handling everything that was happening in the office with multiple customers at a time. After making a reservation, I was directed to a site across town . Upon arrival, I was told they didn't have any cars to rent. They directed me to another location, which was closer to my home. The car i received had a distinct aroma of French fries . I'm not displeased with the car I ended up with. I was displeasded when i was sent across town to find that the site had no cars.
