I had a terrible experience with Budget Rental Car in Waterloo, IA. First off, their fleet is ridiculously limited – they barely have any cars or trucks available. I had a reservation, but still had to wait around because they didn’t actually have the vehicle ready. What’s the point of booking in advance if they can’t follow through? I don’t usually leave reviews, but this was unacceptable. Budget called five minutes before our pickup to say our 12-passenger vehicle wasn’t available — after we had reserved it over a month ago and already driven an hour to get there. Their solution was to send us two hours out of the way or give us a 7-passenger SUV that clearly wouldn’t work. Then they said we’d be taking someone else’s reservation. With service like this, it’s no wonder they have a 2.3-star rating.
Dont rent cars from budget!
0 start is possible, waited 45 min for homeless looking customer rep to show up only to tell me that that the car I have prepaid they have given it away. They of course didn't have any other cars available. worst place ever. To top it all off customer service was useless. only thing they were saying is unfortunately, unfortunately, unfortunately......
