I am a photographer, I had a gig in NewYork at 4hpm. So I book my rental early morning 7:30am. I got there extra early. I wait one hour this branch was closed, and guess what their was no indication no any sign of someone to help. Frustrated and worried I call customer's service, they were very nice to me and they book me another car to another branch. The good news is the car worked fine. So you get 1 star for that. The service and car physically was poor at best. The car was clearly not washed and dirty. When I pointed it out he offered to wash it but that would have set me back 20 minutes. The car had dings and dents everywhere. He had to mark every area on the form. At drop off the gentleman used the F word at least 2 times loudly in front of my children. 1 star because I am unable to give zero. I will NEVER use Budget again! These people are rude and not helpful at all. I rent cars quite often and I will definitely not be going through Budget again at all. Nothing but issues from trying to pick up the car all the way to dropping it off, AND nothing but issues with the car itself the entire trip and Budget did not care or do anything at all to make it better. Do better budget…or don’t, it won’t affect me again!
