I will never rent from Budget again! They charge a $150 deposit upon pickup then on return they charge the full rental amount; in my case it was $179.03. It takes 5-7 days for the deposit to be returned. Since I bought the insurance there is no reason to do this. An additional charge of $29.03 should have been applied. They also charge a $10 after hours drop off. WTAF??? The location I rented from is open 9-1 on Saturday. What other option is there??? Do the the math on this scam. Quite literally the worst customer service experience I've ever had!!! Kris was awful to deal with, clearly didn't know how to do her job, and tried to strong arm me into something I felt was not ok. Of course, no manager was around or available...and over a course of 1 weekend I spent a total of 3+ hours waiting in line when I had a reservation. Why is only 1 person working the counter?!?! I'll never do business here again....EVER!!! :|
If I could give it less stars I would. Worst experience I have ever had. Filled truck up. Key broke off in the ignition. I was told I didn't put enough gas in the truck and had to drive it back to the gas station with the broken key or would be charged 30$. On top of that I was lied to when I picked the truck up. The truck was filthy. I will never rent budget again.
Reservation. You keep using that word. I dont think it means what you think it means.
