I learned a lot in the beginners class—the foundations were definitely worth it. However, for the advanced classes, I found that the instructors weren’t as invested in me as I was in learning. I eventually had to switch to a different facility for work-related reasons. While they do advertise private lessons on their website, they don’t actually offer them unless you're one of their “dream students,” which is a bit ironic. Coach Chris and his crew provide a jolly good time stabbin' and fencin' and having a great learning experience for the kids.... And adults.
Great experience. Chris was great with explaining the sport and clearly knows his craft.
