They use Chex systems when opening accounts and Chex systems is notoriously wrong. Attempted to open an account for my child because it was closer to our home to be told that we could not because the Chex system showed had banking issues with another bank. When told them this was not true and numerous attempts to clear it up with Chex system who had wrong date of birth, wrong addresses and other information just given a run around. Being a native of New York, I’m accustom to banks that treat you like a number. To walk in and be greeted by name, that’s a refreshing change. They have the efficiency of a New York bank yet the familiarity of a small town bank perfectly blended.
