Ciera was a great lead, and I am sorry to see her go. I am worried about having someone new. Once when I picked Fintan up, a substitute was there, and she looked on while a bunch of kids stood around and kicked at another child who was on the ground. It was very disturbing, and I was going to pull my son out of the program, but the next day, this person was gone. I think you've done a good job of keeping the good ones. I worry about my son's safety as new people are tested out. My son's comments are that he wants to play and have fun, not do projects. That's why we did not put him in Creative Action. When I pick him up, he drops whatever art project he's working on and never wants to bring anything home. He has no sense of pride in his work because he's not really interested in the projects. Maybe boys' interests could be integrated more into project ideas, and there could be more organized sports-based activities both indoors and outdoors.. Overall, I feel the program provides him a safe place to be, and he loves to be on the playground having fun after school. Thanks!
