They are the worst Diabedic supply company I have ever dealt with. My last order was a 3 week cycle of getting messages the order was on hold. When I would finally get someone to talk to they would say they were waiting for paperwork from my Dr. They would then check and see the paperwork was in and tell me my order would ship out the next day. This company is the definition of incompetent. They have been responsible for several hospitalizations because they withhold medical supplies and lie about requesting the necessary authorization from providers and insurance. If you value your life DO NOT USE BYRAM. They also gave all my personal information to another customer in a HIPPA violation.
The products are great, but ordering supplies is a pain every month. My fiancé has to reorder, and every month it either cancels for unknown reasons or they input her insurance wrong or something. She is ALWAYS HAVING to go back to get finger pricks because of some BS REASON. I hate having to watch her poke her fingers everyday multi times a day what a inconvenience. Hello! I have used DME companies for the last 13 years in the care of my child. Byram Healthcare has been the most unhelpful, difficult to navigate, and frustrating experience I’ve had. I stayed with them, because I was told by my insurance I had two options and the other one did not take Medicaid (later I found out this was not the case). It took a back and forth of a month to get set up with an offer for my child. They do not know their products well enough to help you navigate their system. AVOID BYRAM HEALTHCARE AT ALL COSTS. Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. A critical prescription has been stuck with them for well over a month, and the "specialist" assigned to my account, Phoebe David, has completely stopped responding to me. No accountability, no service, and, apparently, they don't care whether we live or die.
