Mark Nafziger established Brush Creek Pottery in 1981, located in the Historic Sauder Village. Mark works to combine fine design, form, and function to create wood and gas fired stoneware and porcelain that is an inspiration to see and use. The studio is now closed for the 2020 season. If you would like to visit, please call to arrange an appointment. We will be opening again in May for the 2021 season.

One of the main reasons I got to Sauders Village. Love to watch Mark work. His designs are amazing. Both of my reenacting mugs are from him. I have 2 of his oil candles too. Love the wheat designs on his pottery. Last time I was there though, his inventory was low, but that just means I need to visit again.
