For the last six years I have been buying and selling small quantities of gold and silver (just coins) for spot value only. I was last in Brown's on 07APR14. Each and every time Mr. Brown (before his death), Ms. Brown, and their daughter have been attentive - professional - and fair. With each transaction - (about 15 or 20) Ms. Brown would check the current spot price and quote me a (premium adjusted) offer. I am doubtful that the last review is truthfull because the male OWNER of the store died many years ago and it is now managed by MRs. BROWN. I have been in the store twice and have been very satisfied with the service.

In July 2010 I submitted several coins for certification to Brown's Coins. One submitted was a 2008 ?W Buffalo and Brown entered on my receipt 1908W $10 and I didn't notice it until several days later. He return a 2008W First Strike $10 Buffalo. I have to assume in my ignorance that I submitted a $50 2008W Buffalo but he deceived me. I have no recourse because I accepted the receipt without complaint but I want others to know he is dishonest in my opinion.
