We hired the Hawk Camper from Broome and Beyond for 6weeks starting at Darwin and driving 10,000Km + down to Esprance and back up to Perth, where we finished. First off, everyone on the team are very friendly and very helpful, and very quick to reply to any emails. My partner went down with food poisoning the day we were meant to pick the Hilux up, so the team moved our booking a day later and extended the drop off by a day, which gave her enough time to recover. We rented the 4x4 Toyota Hilux with a rooftop tent in March, and it was absolutely perfect for our family of two adults and two children. There’s a comfortable double bed for the parents, and each child has their own bed as well. The storage space was much larger than expected! With the built-in fridge and clever storage setup, we were able to travel completely self-sufficient for about 10 days without needing a powered campsite. I was really impressed with Broome and Beyond and the camper we hired. It was well set up, in great condition and had everything we needed. I usually drive my own vehicle and camp around the country but I’ll definitely use these guys again for short trips in the Kimberley and top end.
