The sales staff will lie to you. Know this going in. They told us there were "a few" memory care patients and after my elderly parent moved in, we discovered that they were the ONLY non-memory care patient at that time. That fluctuates, but typically there are only a few people who arent memory care. It makes it difficult for a cognitively sharp elderly person to stay that way when there is no socializing with others who are also still sharp. Thank you Brookstone for your exceptional care of our papa. Top notch staff in every department. Admin was easy to talk to and kept us well informed. He was well kept and loved even more. His meds were always given on time, dining service was restaurant style with great quality food, rooms were stocked and cleaned, many activities and space to move around inside and in the courtyards.
