Lovin' Brookshires I have been shopping at Brookshires for over 30 years in Greenville and I have to say there is no other place in town that can beat Brookshires friendliness and wonderful customer service. From the minute you walk in the employees are saying hello to you. I stopped for awhile and started using Walmart but soon found out that their grocery store is nothing like Brookshires. a good place for grocery shopping We often stop here on our way through town. They have a clean store and very friendly employees. We can pick up some items her that we may not find in a smaller town. I like the fact that things are easy to find and the prices are good. we have bought more than one special birthday cake here...namely an ice cream cake. and yes, they will put a name on it for you, with enough notice. Like I said, nice people. Plenty of parking too.
Brookshires Food Store One of the things I like about this store is it's location. It is located on the north side of Shreveport, making it very accessible to the rural areas of the North Caddo Parish. We use it often. Very well stocked and friendly personnel.
Friendly and well stocked We have stopped in this location for many years, on our way to visit family north of Shreveport. It's a great place to pick up items that we know we won't be able to find up in the smaller town we will be in. I also know the ice cream cake is the bomb...and that is a good thing, or at least that is what I am told "bomb" means now! LOL We have also rented a rug doctor on several occasions from this store. Great customer service we recently moved to the area and love the way Brookshire's treats it's customers; that's a mark of great management. they will talk to you, treat you well, help you to the car with groceries without asking, and I see energetic employees; we go back all the time because of the customer service
Full service grocery store. This is Greenville?s only full-service grocery store. The people are very friendly and helpful. The bakery makes delicious cakes ? I had a wedding cake made there and it was beautiful. In addition to the bakery they have a deli and fresh meat market. The prices are a little higher than our other grocery stores ? but at the others you do your own bagging and carry your own groceries to the car. Bad Location Ok the reason for the 3 Stars is not about the Store but the Location. It just isn't in a great Spot. Hard to get in and out of. Store is big and nice. People working there are nice too.
