I was driving behind my sister in law, I was going speed limit, she started speeding and didn't realize the cop. I thought he'd stop her but nope. Caught me instead but I wasn't even speeding. He was all pissed and rude. Payed the ticket anyways but that was messed up
They have a nice little scam going on here. DPS writes stupid/frivolous traffic tickets, and then the court intentionally sits on said cases for years at a time. They just want you to give up and pay the ticket. It's a game to them.
Worse place to get a citation. Pled not guilty for a seatbelt violation at a commercial vehicle weigh station. By a civilian inspector. At 10pm stated I didn’t have it on entering the weigh station!! Superman with X-ray vision and super powers, if you ask me. Then it’s not a public roadway!! County Attorney didn’t help any either!! I guess their hurting for REVENUE!! Of course I pled not guilty.
