Had an awesome time entertaining the men's goup with our robot dogs. Great crowd! Carolyn goes above & beyond for the residents at Brookhaven. Couldn't have had a better experience.
My mother-in-law is in memory care there. My father 97 is in independent living there . Staff is good caring and friendly. Menu could be improved.
My stepmom stayed here for a respite week. When we went in to pick her up, she was sitting at a table for lunch. She had a green banana on her plate that she had smashed. She loves bananas but I suspect she couldn’t peel it. She didn’t appear to have taken much of shower or had her hair brushed while there either. There was no nurse available to speak to when we picked her up. If I could give zero stars I would. They neglected my mom. They kept her room hot, closed the door, didn’t have water within reach, and put her cell phone far enough away that she couldn’t reach it. All of this while was was delirious from sepsis. My dad and I had to fight to have her transported to the hospital. Knowing what I know today I would have called the ambulance myself and requested the police as well. If you care about your loved ones, do not allow them to go to this facility.
