My mother is currently a resident at Brookhaven Manor, and I have serious concerns about her safety and the facility’s response to those concerns. I have personally observed concerning behavior from the activities specialist, Amber, while she was on duty, including appearing disoriented and not fully attentive to residents. I brought this to the attention of staff and management, but no meaningful action was taken. The staff at Brookhaven Manor is exceptional! There ED Crisandra is kind and always there to help support her residents. There staff and residents are welcoming and love to help the Ann Arbor community. They recently assisted a local hospice company in collecting can foods for a local shelter. You are greatly appreciated and I highly recommend your community!
I have a downsizing/decluttering/estate sale business and I have several clients at Brookhaven. The residents love living here, the food is good and they have plenty of activities for residents to participate in. The Executive Director, Chris, is amazing. My parents moved to Brookhaven Manor 6 years ago and quickly became very comfortable living here. They made many new friends, and greatly enjoyed all the activities, the staff, and the management. Anytime they had an issue it was resolved promptly. Having visited them here many times over the years I highly recommend it as a place for independent senior living.
