My mother is a resident at Brookdale Union. She has been very happy with her stay there. All the nursing staff have been so sweet and caring and Susan in sales has been so helpful in our process. The chef has been very caring and makes sure my mom is coming to her meals because she can be forgetful at times. I love that she went out of her way to do this. The facility and her room is so neat and tidy.I thank everyone there for taking such good care of my mom. :)
The facility seemed nice, but they have a problem with bedbugs, instead of taking care of the issue, they try to blame my mother, and are threatening to move her or make her pay. They are rude to my mother. The staff aren’t very helpful, they have refused to get my mom’s walker on occasions.
My mother consistently tells me how happy she is at Brookdale Union. She even says "the food is really good, especially for an institution".
A family member that I am responsible for has been a resident at Brookdale Union almost 3 yrs. He is happy there and I’ve been satisfied with all aspects of his care, communication with Natasha Davis, Wellness Coordinator, has always been open and effective in meeting any particular needs my family member has and I’m always kept abreast of anything particular that occurs with my family member.
