The staff at Navion of New Bern are wonderful. They take great care of the residents. The facility is clean, doesn't smell bad, and improvements are constantly being made. I would have given 5 stars but there are a few processes that need to be improved to assure that tasks are done consistently and the best they can be done. The people in key leadership positions at this facility are relatively new and they are working to improve all aspects of care.

My 99-year-old father has lived at this facility for about two years. The current Navion owners took over management in January, 2025. Care was good before, but is excellent with Navion. All caregivers are loving, positive and competent. Nursing care is wonderful, which is a major concern since we need catheter care, which requires close monitoring. I did a tour of Navion and met the staff. The place felt like home. You get the feeling that the staff really cares about the residents. The residents seemed very happy and cared for. They have a lovely garden area where the residents can sit and socialize. It was a very nice tour I would highly recommend.
