This long-term care facility was clean, and the staff were amazing.
My mother has been at Brookdale for four months now and I can comfortably offer the following. Brookdale is a medium sized facility that has a secure, pleasant layout all on one level. The property is well kept, properly maintained and quiet. What really stands out is seeing how the staff and management are available, friendly and engaged with the residents. They have treated my mom very fairly through the years. I am relieved she doesn't need hospice at this point and can be active at this facility. Staff is very cordial and pleasant. The price is the only thing I can complain about.
Grandma told the nurse that she wasn't getting enough oxygen and the nurse told her the equipment probably needed a new battery. They did NOTHING to help her out. They did not check her oxygen saturation, did not call the medical supply company, did not call her pulmonologist. She died a week later.
Not only is this a great location… they have the best staff! I wish I could give them a 10 star review!
