The administration of this establishment is ruthless to its employees. They only care about their bottom line. I would be afraid to place a loved one in this facility.

I have been so impressed with facility, fantastic food with excellent cleanliness, fantastic service. The facility is what I would consider classy, table cloths on tables, nice clean carpet, floors always clean, the staff always sees that each ( family member ) as the employees refer to them, has what they need, makes sure that each resident knows about activities going on throughout the day. Please do not even consider this place for your loved one. The care and staffing are unbelievably state minimum, no communication-even with corporate, the place and rooms are filthy, soiled linens way too often, missing clothing and personal items, food is barely enough for them and pricing is unlimited to their discretion. After nearly 2 years of praying for better conditions, we were asked to leave, because they could not meet our expectations. It was truly a blessing. Buyer beware. My mother had not been at Emerald Pointe for three months when the administration wanted to increase her level of care and fees by $850 per month. First, she required more supervision than was expected so they added $200 to her fees. Then, when the doctor decided her medication had to be administered by them, they added $600 more per month. My father lived at Brookdale and was cared for by the staff in the assisted living section. He enjoyed most of the staff. The food was good. The other residents were nice and facility was clean.

More like a nursing home than assisted living. No exercise equipment...even a stationary bicycle. Dining is at long tables, like a dorm or penitentiary. They did have tables for four but did away with them. Food is not bad but little variation I'm menu. I see no activities for dementia residents.. They mostly park them here and there.
