As a former resident of the The Gables of Brighton I'm happy to report that as of my leaving 10/01/2025 there have been some significant improvements overall. Food, maintenance, activities and other areas deficient in the past have improved. There is a ways to go but in my current assessment of The Gables I'm happy to report improvements across the board. My brother has lived here for the past two years. I gave them 2 stars because they do provide shelter and hvac and that is the extent of what they provide. I have witnessed the constant staff turnover, the outdated facilities and the quality of the food…I have witnessed people warehoused in wheelchairs and siting rooms without companionship and care…this is not a facility for clients that need 24/7 level 1 care…these are apartments with no support medical or otherwise to care for your family member or loved one. The Gables of Brighton is a terrible place. The food is on a consistent basis not edible and has been for the past two years now that I have lived here. There is a huge turnover of employees, it is Racoon, mouse and drain fly infested. The facility is dated and deferred maintenance is evident through out. If you are considering an independent living facility for yourself or a loved one I recommend you steer clear of the Gables and look elsewhere.
