Delivery here is very difficult it's all reserved parking no parking or handicap parking
My brother has lived here for the past two years. I gave them 2 stars because they do provide shelter and hvac and that is the extent of what they provide. I have witnessed the constant staff turnover, the outdated facilities and the quality of the food…I have witnessed people warehoused in wheelchairs and siting rooms without companionship and care…this is not a facility for clients that need 24/7 level 1 care…these are apartments with no support medical or otherwise to care for your family member or loved one. The Gables of Brighton is a terrible place. The food is on a consistent basis not edible and has been for the past two years now that I have lived here. There is a huge turnover of employees, it is Racoon, mouse and drain fly infested. The facility is dated and deferred maintenance is evident through out. If you are considering an independent living facility for yourself or a loved one I recommend you steer clear of the Gables and look elsewhere.
EDIT Oct 13 2024 - I wanted to send another update. I was just informed that despite things continuing to get worse - they are raising the rent in January. This is a classic example of a management company that buys places like this - drastically cuts cost to turn a profit and then flips it when it no longer fits their portfolio.
