After trying many cheaper 'squirrel proof' peanut feeders, I finally succumbed and splashed out on the Brome. Have to say it was worth it! All the birds, including our regular woodpecker, have been feeding and it has definitely beaten our tenacious squirrels. The cost of the feeder will soon be recovered by saving on the amount of peanuts I was getting through!

Brome makes a full line of Bird Feeders. My first feeder 10 years ago was The Squirrel Buster. In 10 years the Tube Cracked. I called, explain my problem and they informed me it was guaranteed for life. They sent me a new tube no charge. Most recently one of the perches snapped off, the second call and they knew it was me. I explained the perch problem and they said we will send you two perches. They actually sent a pack of four. This is a company that stands behind their products.
I have been feeding birds for over 50 years and have tried many "squirrel-proof" feeders - none of which the squirrels couldn't beat. Not only is the Brome feeder really squirrel proof but they are a wonderful company to deal with. If all companies were as good there would be no such thing as complaint departments.
