I want to share my frustrating experience with Brody’s auto shop to warn others: Initial Inquiry: I called Brody’s to ask about prices before scheduling an appointment. The representative informed me that the dealer does not replace parts but rather shaves them, assuring me that they replace everything. First Visit (Sept 20): I brought my car in for noise issues, guaranteed to be ready by 4 PM. I ended up waiting until about 5:30 PM without any resolution. The short story: this place ruined my CVT transmission. I dropped my 15 outback off to have around 5k dollars of work done to it, including a transmission flush. Within a few weeks of having it back it started making a grinding sound when I would drive uphill. I scheduled to have it looked at by a dealership because I was so concerned with the sound and they reported back that the transmission had been underfilled by just over 2 quarts, which leads me to believe (as these cannot leak internally) that someone at Brody’s, in f... read more

Ryan at Brody’s was just the best. I scheduled and mentioned to him I would be in right at opening. I was and he helped me right away. He said he would call me if he could get the part to fix my daughter’s car or if I would need to leave it overnight. He called me at 10 and said he could get the part and get it done and gave me a quote. I told him I had to be in to pick up no later than 3:30 pm. He said he would make sure it was done by 3 pm.
