Worst experience of my life ! This mortgage broker performed a bait and switch on us when we purchased a property. He had weeks to prepare our financing with our documments to get us an A lender (we both have great permanent positions and no debt). Instead he waited, did not touch our file until a couple days before the closing date only to tell us we needed to use A PRIVATE LENDER at 12% interest. As a first time home buyer, we didn't expect to get a decent pre-approval as we have tried thru different brokers and their pre-computation wasn't even closed on what he gave us.
