I could never recommend Broadway for home loans. I have been a real estate broker for 20 years and done hundreds of home purchases with clients. This is my first and last time with Broadway. Luly S****** has been the point of contact. Her boss is Greg B*****. They received an appraisal and three weeks later told us the day before closing that their were things that the appraiser required to be done. I opened a checking account at Broadway Bank for the sole purpose of financing my new vehicle. I was pre-approved for the auto loan and proceeded to purchase my new vehicle. At the dealership, it took several phone calls and over 4 hours to find out that my relationship banker needed more documents signed / underwriter approval … etc … AT the bank before they would finance my new vehicle. Do not use this bank. I was a customer for over 15 years because my finances became so embedded into my account, with auto pay and auto deposits being everpresent. Changing banks is a pain but I wish I had done it at the first signs of Broadway’s incompetence or chose another bank to begin with. The list of errors they have made is long, but a few noteworthy instances are when their system somehow forgot to mail me a replacement bank card when my card was lost. VERY RUDE. Horrible customer service. I called to get technical assistance to unlock my account. I spoke with Thomas in technical support. He kept telling me to check my credit card number again. I was asking him where he wanted me to put the credit card number in, and if he was wanting me to click on the reset the password button.
