I was Naylne's student for over three years. Nalyne is one of the most passionate and talented artists I have had the pleasure of working with. I have always treasured the time I spent as her student. Not only did I learn the fundamentals of art, but I also developed a love for culture and ideas that I had never been exposed to. I’ve been studying under Nalyne since second grade, and I’ve only gotten to where I am as an artist because of her teaching and guidance. I used many pieces that I made in her studio for my portfolio when I applied to college, and they were very impressed by them. I was also in a sketching class and found myself top of the class. I wouldn’t be as good as an artist as I am today if it weren’t for Nalyne! She’s an excellent instructor and such an amazing personality.
