Wanted to donate a clean camping cot bed. Was accepted initially. When I told them I have gift aid, they rejected the item. They can accept humongous dining tables but they decline a cot bed. When I told another charity shop that was next door, they were shocked!
Went there today and it is CLOSED. All signage gone, shutters down and store empty. Wasted journey. Thanks Red Cross. Why haven't you changed the website yet.😡😡😡
Wow the ruddest shop manager I've ever had the "pleasure" to deal with. I entered the changing cabin after waiting for a long time (they only have one) after someone else. Was inside a few mins when someone started to yell at me that the shop is closed and I need to leave... I still had 3 items I had yet to try which I communicated that I'm still trying and I kept being asked if I'm buying something. How can I know if I'm buying it if I can't try it??? An ok charity shop. Prices are quite high, selection is tacky and on the older, grimey side. Plus what feels like exclusively Zara pieces. Furniture looked quite nice, but very funky smell in the whole shop. Two workers were screaming in the back, the whole time I was there. Made quite uncomfortable by it. Just one fitting room.
