It's such a long drive for us, but I'd go back if they updated the decor. It still very much screams "work in progress" compared to other tea houses. It needs a designer's touch. Bathrooms are hilarious! Wonderful service. Lovely tea selection.
Visited during their special Mad Hatter time of the year and really enjoyed my visit. The staff were friendly and happy to talk to the patrons. I enjoyed talking about the dark chocolate digestive biscuits. The space is part store and part tea room. The store portion was a bit empty but they had a sign stating they were trying to find good prices for the imported British goods because they know customers are price sensitive nowadays. Tried the afternoon tea for a girls get together lunch. While I had responded via email to resturant about date I wanted to make reservation. After multiple attempts to set date and time via email I gave up and called to figure out what was happening. I was able to reserve a spot. The next day (day of reservation) I received a call from someone at the restaurant indicating they had gotten my messages via email but didn't know which location I wanted to go to.
