Received an injury assessment for runners knee from Lesley today which was incredibly thorough and useful. Lesley performed a number of biomechanical tests on me and gave really useful detail about what might be going on as well as what I can do to manage my knee going forward. I found her observations illuminating and I will be booking in a follow up.
Lesley was knowledgeable and professional, but also friendly and keen to understand my condition. I will follow up to build a plan with her for handling my hypermobility better.
After being sceptical of physio helping with sciatica and thinking I would just be spoken at and given a sheet of exercises, it was so much more than that. Ben was excellent with explaining everything, did lots of investigation and ended up having massage and acupuncture, he showed me what exercises to do in the gym and came away with videos as reminders, which is so much more beneficial. Seren is very knowledgeable and helpful. Less than 2 weeks before an ultra I was thinking I might not get to the start line. Seren assessed, explained the problem and gave me exercises. I'm now confidence I'll get through it.
