I was the respondent in an order-of-protection hearing on August 27, 2025, where this attorney represented the petitioner. I represented myself. The attorney , Dakota filed his entry of appearance less than 24 hours before the hearing. I cannot speak to his intentions, but from my perspective, the timing felt strategic and left me at a disadvantage as a self-represented respondent.
