As much as people seem to like this place for kids, my experience as an adult was horrible. Jawanda is very sucky uppy to your face but no follow through. Assessment was incomplete. No more thorough than initial free pre-assessment evaluation. No problem charging for it though! It was pretty clear at my pre-assessment that they didn't want to take me on as a client. Referred from my Primary Care Physician for several balance issues, generalized weakness, and falls. Treated me with utmost respect and kindness. I’ve had inpatient rehab, and treatment by PT locally. The professionals in this clinic take their jobs seriously, always at your side gate belt in hand supervising every exercise, assuring your technique is proper as not to harm yourself further. I am a therapeutic riding instructor and do horse therapy for people with disabilities. Jaycee is one of our students and a client of Bright Steps. The therapists are so invested in their clients success that they drove all the way to Bush, Louisiana to observe Jaycee in a lesson to incorporate therapy activities that would benefit Jaycees riding goals.
