Camp Brigadoon has genuinely changed my life for the better. 3 years ago I thought I didn't have a purpose but after 3 years of going to camp it helped me understand how awesome I can really be. I have made so many awesome friendships at camp and the counselors and programmers are so sweet and I'm happy I have gotten to go to this camp. Parent review. I sent my child to the Trailblazer camp for children with facial differences. It was a recommendation by the IWK. My daughter was at the camp for a week. At the time she had never been to an overnight camp before. Due to an airway reconstruction she snores, which the camp knew, she also couldn’t shower completely independently at the time. Parent here. I sent both my kids there. After a couple day I get a call. My son bumped his head but everything is fine and they are gonna go to the hospital just in case. Doctor says he is fine, no concussion, no bruising, nothing. The next day, after not sleeping all night, he has a mild headache. It was enough for one of them to diagnose him with a concussion.
