What a beautiful community, very clean and well-maintained. The staff is kind, attentive, and truly care about the residents. The overall atmosphere is welcoming and positive, and the food is absolutely delicious!
My beloved sister who has since passed in 2022 was a resident there from 2017-2021 in their memory care unit when it was called Bridgewater. Initially when she first arrived and her dementia was mild, the care and staff seemed to do a good job. However as her dementia worsened and Covid hit things rapidly and dangerously went down hill. I applied for a housekeeping job and the place is amazing. Staff are very kind and helpful. Not too mention this place, it has taken in a lot of lovely residents, from other failed assited living facilities. And when leaving from my interview, I saw someone I use to caregive for. I broke down in tears knowing he finally found his right place.
Went to visit the facility before applying for a job under the pretext I was touring to see if was Right for a family member. From my observation it appeared short staffed , not up to my standards of cleanliness and patients seemed dreary and gloomy. I can't honestly know what happens here but I've worked at several assisted living homes and after touring decided not to apply for a job. Much of the cleaning and care staff members here are friendly and helpful, but the management staff are abusive and neglectful. The company that oversees everything is downright criminal. When our family member first arrived here, Bridgewater advertised all the great services and amenities including on-site gym for physical therapy and a dedicated theater room for movies and video games. After over 5 years, I never saw the gym being used and the theater room only got used by residents in a prayer group. It really is a shame ... read more
