This is for the assessors office. I'd give zero stars for them giving me the run around on what's actually needed to remove a tax bill. This is why people do not register vehicles in CT. These guys get paid to sit around all day and do nothing. If a paper from the dmv shows and says the vehicle is sold why do you need the insurance company to say that? That just doesn't make sense. The insurance companies do not care about vehicle sales.
Takes forever to post your vehicular bills. In the age of e-transactions, this still takes 10 Business days that’s 14 Days to process one simple payment. Things move at the pace of snail.
The worst service ever, paid my complete taxes early and a month later I still cannot renew my registration which expires in 2 days because DMV is still telling me I have to go the tax office. All i get is the run around and no actually help.
Woke up to a boot on my car and learned that the 3 years I had my car (which was my first car and still new to this as a 22 year old) that they been sending my city taxes bills to my old address that I moved YEARS AGO from. I called and the guy wasn't the friendliest and I told him as I was very confused because I pay all my bills that this situation is new to me. He said it's not his fault and there's nothing I can do.
