Bottom of the barrel predators. You're only dealing with them if you're already in a tough spot, and they're definitely here to make it worse. My pay dates have never changed in 10 years. I was assured they would align with my pay dates to make my payments easier. They refuse to move the schedule to match up without 6 months of payment history. Absolutely horrible customer service! I tried to pay my loan payment online. There was a glitch in the system, and 2 payments were scheduled. I called and spoke to a representative and a supervisor. I was told that there was nothing they could do. They said it was a same day payment so I would have to contact my bank and fix the issue. It now is going to cost me $27 to stop the payments and then another $27 to reset the payments. Didn’t realize it was going to cost me an extra $52 to make my car payment this month. I hate this place I purchased the car and have to get it financed through them. The car that was purchased was a lemon. It was messed up didn’t work nothing I have to keep getting it fixed every month. I don’t have the car for two years because nobody wants to refinance it or trade it in because it was $17,000 when I looked at the book the car is only worth $6000. we’re in 2025. These bad reviews definitely came from people who didn't pay their payments and didn't reach out. I fell 3 payments behind because of an unexpected illness. I reached out to bridgecrest immediately. They set up very reasonable payment arrangements, gave me extensions AND moved two late payments to the end of my loan so I could be current. They have been professional, helpful and beyond considerate. All you have to do is stay in contact with them and they will bend over backwards to help. Are the interest rates higher? I looked at my principle paid today. I've paid 4,152 and only 2,692 has gone to my principle payment. How is it allowed for a company to offer you 10% interest then take like 35%? Another scam. I would never purchase a vehicle off of Carvana again. I've been advised to file with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. And that's what I will do tomorrow.
