Posting here because there is no Google review for The Claiborne at Woodstock- but still relevant because it is still the same management. My father lived at Brickmont of Woodstock- now known as The Claiborne- for 4 years until last october, when we were notified by Brickmont that he was too sick to be cared for there, despite him being in hospice- so we had to quickly find a new home for my father and moved him out within days. I will first say a lot has changed now that the company is owned by a new company and not all for the better. But I wanted to come on and say that the best thing about Brickmont is Yvette the activities director!! She truly loves on the people there. She provides entertainment, love, respect and the utmost care for the residents. She is like a second mom and best friend to my mom. I don’t know what we’d do without her. I like to take this time to thank the care team staff of Woodstock especially Mrs.Sheryl she always was a big help to me when it came to Ms.Connie needs. She was there for Connie Strickland from the first day in the facility she was the one to greet Connie and l. Mrs. Sheryl showed herself to be a Ginuwine good person that Connie and I could rely on at all times when Sheryl was on duty I didn't have to worry I knew that Connie would be taken care of. One of the most important aspects of a great facility is the care partner assigned to walk with you and your loved one along this journey. Cheryl Chandler by far is a Ten Plus hands down every day. Cheryl provided a level of care to my loved one as if she was indeed a member of our family. She dove into taking care of his daily needs but also engaged in getting to know his likes and dislikes.
